MIXER Telephone Study
Target Languages
The target languages for the MIXER Study are listed below. You need to be comfortable in using English AND have native fluency in one of these languages to be eligible to participate in the Mixer study.
There is a $2 per call bonus for every call made in one of these languages as well as a $50 bonus for participants who complete 5 or more calls in one of the target languages. For more information about the Foreign Language Bonuses, please visit the Compensation Information Page.
Please do not mix English with your native language or your call will not be counted toward the foreign language bonus. It is OK to use English at the beginning of your conversation for negotiating with your speaking partner and it's also acceptable if you occasionally use English words when you do not know how to say them in your native language.
The list is subject to change as collection progresses. Currently we are not accepting any new US English, Mandarin Chinese, Vietnamese or Russian participants. Existing participants who speak these languages will be able to complete the study.
